An elegant country house poised on the edge of a rural North Somerset village, in a secluded location at the end of a sweeping drive, offers a truly serene yet extremely accessible location in which to embrace and enjoy the Spring equinox.
Offering both morning and evening yoga practices this retreat will be suffused with creative inspiration ignited by this celebration of returning light and considerate attention to detail to ensure that everyone who attends, regardless of age or experience, can fully enjoy each class. Oh and the food will be just as special; created by a talented, passionate and experienced chef.
The venue has 9 vast double bedrooms; a stunning and capacious space for yoga which has a vaulted ceiling, windows to all sides and panelled walls. There is a charming morning room which floods with light and offers wonderful views of the surrounding countryside. It's here that we will gather to eat, drink, chat and relax - a very important part of any retreat. The accommodation offers everything needed to make this the perfect setting for a group of beautiful like minded souls seeking to share yoga, relaxation, laughter and connection and a fair bit of self-nourishment. And with that in mind you are invited to do as much or as little as you want to - on Your retreat.
Mid March is a bountiful time to venture outside and the inviting private grounds which encircle the house, include well tended lawns, architectural bordered ponds and follies, romantic arbours and 'chance upon' glades which are connected via enticing paths which wind whimsically through the estate. All are yours to roam through, discover and relax in, along with the offer of some more rugged woodland if you are feeling adventurous.
Each one of the gorgeous bedrooms (see below for more photos) is beautifully decorated with antique and vintage furniture and lavish soft furnishings. Your sleep will be supported by either a double or a king size bed, (one room has an additional sofa bed). Some of the rooms have double aspect windows and there are 5 luxuriously equipped, modern bathrooms.
Single occupancy with double or kingside bed £399 per person.
Twin occupancy (double bed and sofa bed) £329 per person - Only 1 room available
Double Room (suitable for couple - or friends happy to share a bed) £600 (this is for both of you not each!)

Priority for room allocation will be given to those paying in full and strictly on a first come first served basis.
The price of your retreat includes all yoga classes (props provided but please bring a mat) meals* as outlined below and a bespoke gift bag to take home.
*vegetarian food provided - dietaries can be accommodated. You are very welcome to bring your own alcoholic beverages if you wish to enjoy a glass or two with your evening meal.
Suggested Retreat Itinerary:
Friday 18th March
From 3:00pm - Guest arrivals, settle into rooms and explore your surroundings
4:00pm - Tea/Coffee and scrumptious home made cake served in the morning room
6:pm - welcome circle followed by Hatha Flow Yoga
7:30pm - Welcome Drinks served in the morning room followed by supper
9pm - Full Moon Meditation & Star Gazing with hot cocoa
Saturday 19th March
8:30am - Morning Vinyasa flow yoga
10am - Breakfast
Free time! Explore the grounds?
1pm - Buffet Lunch
Free time! snuggle up with a good book
3:00pm - Themed Yoga - Workshop style
4:45pm - Tea/coffee and pastries or more scrumptious cake
7pm - Supper
8:30pm - Yin Yoga followed by deeply relaxing Yoga Nidra
Sunday 20th March
8:30am - Vinyasa flow yoga to welcome in the Spring Equinox
10am - Breakfast
11:00am - closing circle and farewells.
(Please note timings and activities may alter slightly depending on weather conditions and the needs of the group. Participation in any of the activities is entirely voluntary, so if you want to skip something, explore your surroundings, simply put your feet up, rest or read a book please know that you are most welcome to do just that.)
