An elegant country house poised on the edge of a rural North Somerset village, in a secluded location at the end of a sweeping drive, offers a truly serene yet extremely accessible location in which to welcome in the fall season.
As the tree gracefully sheds its' once bright leaves creating a soft carpet of melded browns, brushed auburns and golden cinnamon hues, the fall season is a time for gathering in. Leave the world behind - just for the weekend and join me in this yoga retreat and experience various types of yoga practice - from vinyasa flow to yoga nidra. Fully catered you can enjoy delicious vegan/vegetarian meals and a forest bathing experience.

THE YOGA
Thoughtful and considerate attention will ensure that everyone who attends, regardless of age or experience, can fully enjoy each class. All classes take place in a warmly inviting space, where the dwindling light of the season naturally cascades in from every angle.
Your Weekend Home
The venue has 9 spacious double bedrooms and 5 superb bathrooms each with shower and roll-top bath. There is a charming morning room which catches the morning and afternoon light and offers breath taking views of the surrounding countryside. We will gather together to eat, drink, chat and relax, and share stories and laughter around a roaring log fire. The accommodation offers everything required to make this the perfect setting in which to retreat and share yoga, relaxation, connection and plenty of enriching self-nourishment.

October is an inspiring time to venture outside and enjoy the earthy colours of nature's pallet. The venue's landscaped private grounds encircle the house. There is an architecturally bordered pond, romantic arbours and secluded groves all of which are connected via meandering paths which flow whimsically through the estate. Like the leaves that fall freely from the trees you can roam free, discover and enjoy.
Guest Reflections from last year's seasonal weekend retreats...
"I loved Emma's style of teaching and have never been to another class quite like hers. I leave her classes feeling utterly at peace and I think it's because she creates an environment you can relax deeply into and achieve a moving meditation. "
"I feel so revitalised by the weekend. Such a fun and wonderful group. Thank you to everyone."
What a perfect weekend, I loved every minute. The yoga was both physically challenging and relaxing in equal measure. The company was glorious, lots of laughs and support throughout. Can't wait for the next one.
"Thank you to Emma for a lovely weekend. The practices were high level as always. Vegan food from Alice was very very good, she needs and extra thank you! Really enjoyed the forest bathing, lovely seeing how peaceful everyone became. Emma's chanting in the hall had great resonance - all in all a great weekend."
"Emma exceeded my expectations for the Yoga Retreat. The venue was stunning and the atmosphere relaxed and friendly. The yoga was super nourishing as was the spectacular full moon meditation. I have experienced many Yoga Avenue events and always come away wanting more."
