Service Description

CLASS 1 Morning Yoga to Mobilise the Spine - 23 minutes A simple morning practice to release tension, alleviate tightness in the entire spine and remove stagnant energy - the residue of our night's rest . By moving the spine in all 6 directions we begin to stir, churn and invigorate the subtle energy. This increases fluid flow; balances the body's systems and develops awareness of where we start from on any given day. With that sense of deeper cognition we can move forward with more intelligent ease and joy. CLASS 2 Yoga for Shoulder Stability - 22 minutes The shoulder is designed for mobility rather than stability. It is more vulnerable to injury through exercise (especially repetitive movements or weight bearing) because it relies on delicate soft tissue to hold it together and due to the shallow nature of the ball and socket top joint which enables it's wide range of movement. We can create balance through developing awareness on the mat. Improving stability in this joint helps to both relieve pain/rehab injury but also to help prevent these occurring in the first place. A yoga strap is needed for the opening exercise (two normal wide belts strapped together can also work) CLASS 3 Short Morning Flow - 15 minutes This simple, short morning flow which is suitable for beginners, is intended to gently awaken the spine and open the chest and shoulders to release any morning tightness. CLASS 4 Yoga for Happy Hips - 43 minutes Around 22 muscles cross the hip joint along with a plethora of ligaments. A ball and socket joint which in order to be kept healthy and mobile needs to be moved in all directions. Sitting is our modern day nemesis causing tightness in the hip flexors and lower back. Cancellation Policy

Cancellation policy: In the event of needing to cancel a class you must provide a minimum 24 hours notice. Refunds will not be issued but transfer to another class is possible only providing your space can be resold to another participant. As a small business it is important that this rule is applied to all bookings to ensure sustainability and fairness throughout - your understanding is appreciated.
