Yin yoga focuses on settling into stillness. The poses gradually unfurl the body by gently stretching fascia, the connective tissue and helping to balance our life force energy (chi or prana). This slow, contemplative practice of longer holds in poses which are accessed softly are typically held for 3 to 5 minutes giving you time and space. We then intuitively melt into a blissful Yoga Nidra - literally a yogic sleep. As you fall into a place between wakefulness and sleep you can experience a deep state of renewal which helps to counter the effect of stress and anxiety as you offer your body and brain a chance to relax, let go and surrender to rest.
Cancellation policy varies depending on type of class booked. Online yoga classes require 24hours notice. All In person classes are non-refundable unless another yogi can take your spot.
