This workshop will commence with a 75 minute yoga class designed to stimulate and heal your gut through a combination of creatively sequenced asana and pranayama practices. By the practice of yoga we can reduce stress and stimulate the digestive process, two important factors closely associated with gut health. The yoga practice will be suitable for all levels as modifications and alternative will be offered throughout and props used where relevant. As we detox, cleanse and stimulate the digestive system through physical movement we begin to access a deeper relationship to what ails us. Even our thoughts can affect our gut' yet as we become still in meditation the power of the breath can be harnessed to provide an antidote to gut discomfort.
Our practice will prepare us for a freshly homemade, delicious gut nourishing lunch. As we take our seat, at the table this time, Claire, the founder of The Healthy Bacteria Company will offer an insight into the fascinating world of your gut and the bugs that live here. The dishes will not only be a feast for your eyes but for your gut bugs as well. Have you ever eaten a meal and wondered why you suffer from bloating or constipation yet your friend doesn't? Well perhaps your gut bugs are to blame. A deeper knowledge of your uniquely personal gut bacteria can enable you to tailor your choices to help heal both mild and chronic gut issues and achieve a happy healthy gut. We are what we eat and our diet is the key to sustainable health, increased energy and well being.
Tickets are limited to 8 and there will be time to chat with both Emma and Claire over lunch. You will also receive recipes so you can easily recreate any of the dishes at home as well as further information regarding how to effectively enhance your microbiome.
