About The Event

"So now come to the balance section of our practice"... does your heart rate increase as you momentarilty suspend your breath and feel the fear rising when a yoga teacher says this in class?   

Our balance naturally decrease as we age which can be a problem because increasing instability makes us more susceptible to injury when we lose our balance and trip, stumble or fall.   With a little practice however and some focus in a few key areas we can improve our balance at any age.  

Moving though a sequential flow of balance challenges we will augment awareness of the tools that can help us prepare for, move into, sustain and release safely from balance poses.   Developing more proprioceptive awareness (where the body is in space), connecting to the mental and physical elements that help or hinder balance you will take away with you a knowledge of the areas which you most need to work on to help you develop better balance both on an off the mat.

Suitable for all levels of practitioner you will require a yoga mat or towel and access to a wall whilst still being able to see your device.
